More rein action puts some pressure on the angle of the mouth. Suitable for horses that are very sensitive in the mouth, but cant be ridden with a Hackamore only. The tongue port snaffle gives the horses tongue enough room because of the flattened area on the port. Many horses react to this with more relaxation and chewing.
